Formerly using an old Radio Shack model - circa 1991 -, this is 100% better. Only using it in small venues currently, but have not had any 'bleeding' of frequency issues.

Wrong photo aside... (this item doesn't come with the little square transmitter) we own multiple 700 series systems and one 200 freeway series unit we use for connecting a laptop. The 700's with their multiple channel ability have allowed us to run 4 units at the same time during our week long seminars with zero trouble, zero noise issue, and very impressive battery life (over 8 hours on lavalier units). The connectors on the transmitter units allow for connecting lavalier microphones, instrument cables, and over ear microphones all with the same unit. The wand will work with any of the other receivers with a quick change of the channel. Output level is adjustable on the receiver, and transmit level is adjustable for both low and high power modes on the transmitters. These systems are plenty clear enough for seminars and presentations and have served us well.

The new cordless microphones will be adequate for our needs. We had a small problem setting them. We had to read the instructions. One of the two did not have as much volume as the other one; we even tried different channels on the sound board and in the receiver. It works ok by using the volume slider on the sound board. Over all I think they will work out all right.
