It's an overview book and isn't too technical. It mostly describes and uses the bare minimum of math. Contains 3 practical audio test circuits you can build - power supply, audio signal tracer, mixer + a mic input for it.

Chapter 7 has the some of the best descriptions I've read on how BJT amplifiers work in common emitter, common base and common collector configurations.
