My main exercise is swimming and I wanted to find a way to listen to music as I do my laps. I bought this product and I love it.
I use it everyday and have had no problems.
Instead of using the armband I've just hooked it to the shoulder strap of my suit. The casing was very secure and therefore a little difficult to remove but I didn't mind since it showed a good seal. I like the feature that allows me to control my IPod playing.
I would recommend this to anyone who loves music and swimming.

1- The size; I really think it can be smaller
2- Is really hard to open it.

I don't use the arm band because I hang it on my bathing suit, it work perfectly I really like it!

This case has worked great since I bought it two and a half months ago. I think I'm going to need a new arm strap soon because the soft velcro is losing its grip, but I guess that is a trade-off for the comfort.

They do recommend applying silicone around the inside of the seal every five times it is opened and closed, which means one needs to buy special silicone. But given that the other underwater cases often seem to leak, and this one doesn't, that seems reasonable.

The best invention to date. Makes swimming a pleasure. Now if I can only find a good, reliable set of head phones all will be right with the world.

Quick Shipping, hard to get shuffle in and out. Uses a grease for sealing. Not real practical, much bulkier than the shuffle itself. Have to use the H20 ear buds. But... it is waterproof if you follow all of the recommendations.

My husband uses this to protect his Ipod Shuffle during his intense workouts 3x/week. He's been using this faithfully since July 2009, then the connection for the earbuds began to leak, so this is a replacement. I have no complaints, before I found this item we lost at least 5 MP3 players due to damage from perspiration in the first year my husband started working out with music. I don't know about using this equipment underwater, but it sure does protect your Ipod from the dangers of salt corrosion from perspiration.
