Comprehensive, but not on everything,

This book does seem to cover almost every area of the DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) in some detail, but I did not get the information I really wanted, specifically to do with hard disk recording. Some details were a little to in-depth such as the section on how a hard disk works. It even has a diagram showing the inside of a hard disks! I don't think many people care how it works, they just want to know what to do to get it to work. But a good reference if you want a detailed source of Info on DAWs in general.
