I was delighted with this purchase until I discovered that the NRG WEL, rather than me, was the father of our youngest son. I guess I'd always suspected something in the back of my mind, as much of the fizz had left our marriage around the time we upgraded our stereo system. And I couldn't help noticing that our baby was blessed with a much larger and more impressive connector than any other male in my family. But denial is a powerful thing, and I guess I didn't want to confront my fears.
But I finally it occurred to me why my wife blushed whenever she turned on the TV. I knew I had to take strong action to save what was left of my family.
I confronted the AudioQuest, which of course denied everything. And may God help me, but when counter-spiral HyperLitz metal looks you in the eye and swears its innocence, it's hard not to believe it.
That night I went to bed upset and confused. I didn't know what to think.
By the next morning, the NRG had drained my bank account, put the house in its name, planted drugs in my car and emailed the FBI to pull me over on the way to work. Needless to say, my explanation of the real perpetrator was not believed; it will be twelve years before I am up for parole.
Added a star for great sound.
