These cables are everything the audiophile with too much money could ask for. They make your music sound even better than it did in the concert hall. The sound of your home theater with these babies hooked up compares to a live concert in about the same way that a live concert compares to the Victrola your granddad had back in the 1930s. Everything sounds bigger and better than life.

Only one issue, so far:

When my cat tried batting at one of them, it leaped up and choked her to death; try as I might, I couldn't make it let go. Those SOBs are POWERFUL.

And after it tossed Buttons' limp corpse across the room, it reared up and I swear, it LOOKED at me, like it was telling me, "So what are you going to do about it?" In fact, I KNOW it was telling me that, because inside my head, I could hear it growling at me.

Last night, I woke up to an electric blue glow in my bedroom.

It was THERE.

It was WATCHING me.

I closed my eyes again, pretended I was asleep, but I swear it could hear my heart pounding.

After a few minutes,I heard it slither off back into the living room, muttering and growling and laughing to itself.

........."is this a joke".
seriously, this ain't going to make your system sound any better than a $10 cable. if you buy this cable then your bottom needs to be kicked, hard.

At $8.64 per inch, the AudioQuest class 5 optical cable is less expensive than many male escorts, but it delivers so much more. Its TosLink plugs are both more comfortable and easier to clean than the plugs on the Denon AKDL1 Dedicated Link Cable--well worth the extra $80. My only complaint is the exceptionally low jitter.

Why, oh why, would one spend $300+ on a cable that does the same thing as one that costs less than $10. Save the extra money and go take your family to dinner at a nice restaurant!

AudioQuest is an amazing company, no seriously, I haven`t been sarcastic here.

$495 for one meter super clean glass cable is rip off. Based on this fact alone I will never buy any of their awesome ANALOG cables.
AudioQuest makes some interconnects and speaker cables of very high quality and reasonable price.
