I have several AudioQuest items in my home and this one fits right in with my expectations. It worked perfectly, right out of the package and was reasonably priced. Sound quality through my 7.1 system is noticeably (but not greatly) better than analog. It's well-constructed and works fine. The eco-nerd in me says that they HAVE to find better packaging... it's in a non-recyclable plastic tray inside a corrugated box. If you're looking for bells and whistles and a lot of useless paperwork, buy Monster. If you want something simple that works and has a good corporate history behind it, look no further.

I bought this cable to connect my PC to an external DAC which is then connected to a headphone amp. The DAC will accept both a coax and Toslink cable. Only the Toslink connection will provide full 24bit/192kHz sampling rates. Audioquest is known for making quality cables. This cable is the cheapest in their Toslink line. I'm not sure I could tell the difference in sound quality if I had used a more expensive cable so this one works for me.

I've used Audioquest for years now and have never been disappointed. Like the title says this is a great cable @ a great price.

This is the first time I have uesd this type of cable.

I know some people say that there is no difference between this and a $5.00 cable of this type,

but this cable works great between my dvd player and my Zvox, ZVO550HSD speakers.

I would recommend this cable.
