This subwoofer is a great buy, reasonably priced and excellent quality. It sounds very good, it's easy to hook up to any system, the low profile allows it to fit in most places a subwoofer would not fit, and the exterior looks nice. I've had it for a month now and it works perfectly with my 5.1 dolby digital system. All in all I give this speaker an 8 out of 10.

I was very unsure at first about buying this sub but i needed something in my bedroom i could hide easily under a dresser...so i took a chance.
I have fairly high end equipment in my other room and i was unsure about the quality of this sub.To my suprise the sub came in a day later after ordering and the build quality was excellent. The finish on the sub is a dark grey metallic which is really nice, and as far as sound quality,it does its job well. Iam using the sub with 3 monitor audio satellite speakers and people cant believe the sound in the room. Get yourself a sub cable and within 5-10 min you will have this hooked up and ready to go...all you need to do is adjust the volume to you liking..all in all excellent product for the money..

I had previously purchased a different power subwoofer from Amazon and I was totally disappointed. Okay, it sucked! I returned it. Thanks Amazon! Anyway I had very low expectations for this woofer before I received it. I was hoping to just add a little bass to my music. After I hooked it up I was amazed! It actually hits hard. It has a good range of bass. If you want just a little thump for movies or a wall-shaking boom this is the ticket. I have tried several and I'm very pleased with this one. I have limited space and this fit into it perfectly.

I bought this to replace my KLH (which died)....way better! Sound is awesome and rear controls very accessable and easy to use.

AST SUB 10 fits on top of a built in just below ceiling and has my 16x24 ft media room rockin'. Rock and roll bass to explosions and car crashes fill the room. Speakeraddict had the best price and was especially helpful in quickly replacing the first one that was damaged in transit. Appreciated personal service from Cameron. This sweet unobtrusive(shape) but attractive(finish) speaker is a significant upgrade to my Orbs(front) and Polks(rear).

This was a great price on a really nice subwoofer for my 5.1 system. My wife didn't want a big, ugly, subwoofer in the theater room, but I wanted something with some kick. This system is the perfect fit. My wife has no issues with the low profile design and my father-in-law's first words were, "It even shakes your seat like the movie theater!" Enough said!

I received the unit based on reviews and was not disappointed. It is a very sound quality build. Compact but solid and the finish is very well done. I am just as critical of the look as I am the sound and I am not disappointed in either. I will say that I am not an expert when it comes to mid-high end sound but I know what I like and I have heard poor units before. I have 12" Polk subwoofer in the other room and I think they both sound comaprable.

This is an excellent value in my opinion.

The size is bigger than I thought. It appears beautiful and match color to my plasma tv bezel, which is piano black. I wish it came with digital audio input though.
In general, sound is pretty good at this price and it offers us many options to connect to. On and off is automatic and it has built in crossover to cut frequency at different level if you have full signal output.
