I paid $150 dollars for this pair of speakers on Amazon's Deal of the Day. I installed them in my bathroom hooked up to an Onkyo TXSR308 Home Theater receiver.

These speakers sounds terrific and put out plenty of sound for my fairly large (60 sq foot) bathroom.

Installation was as easy as it can get for a speaker that you mount in the wall. A lot of sound does travel to the room behind my bathroom, but that's to be expected. I put some insulation in the wall above and below the speakers, and installed the Wood Technology SC-2 In-wall Sound Chamber from Amazon ($20.99) to try to combat the sound bleeding through to the other room. Seemed to make the sound a little richer in the bathroom and muffled it in the adjacent room a bit.

I've owned a lot of in-wall speakers, but these Audioaccess speakers are the first to offer truly hi-fi performance. Do they make outdoor speakers? I want a pair!

This is an OEM/Generic version of a Harmon Kardon/JBL unit. The driver has substantial mass, and overall build quality was good. Bass response was surprisingly good, and overall sound quality was quite good. Installation was quite easy. Connection is made via simple Spring Loaded connectors (does not support Banana plugs). Amazon often sells this unit for 1/4 to 1/5 of the MSRP. At that price it's fantastic value for money. I would put the quality of the speakers well above the generic brands found in Big Box retail stores. I wouldn't hesitate to use these as surround speakers or as main speakers in a small/modest TV room, bedroom, etc.
