4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent
These are an excellent pair of outdoor speakers. The quality and sound are great for the low cost. I would definitely recommend these.

3.0 out of 5 stars A little on the weak side.
Don't expect great bass or loud volumes, but for a really basic outdoor, it will get the job done.

4.0 out of 5 stars $300 Sound from $30 Speakers AudioSource LS525, March 22, 2010

The LS525's make excellent bookshelf speakers. They have a VERY sharp cut-off at 100Hz, but have very crisp highs and smooth mids. While the sound is very flat, for a more substantive low end experience, they were wired into a 10" passive subwoofer and a vintage 1970's Harmon-Kardon 75 watt reciever in my office. The sound is excellent! Don't let the construction fool you. The Audiosource LS525's are very lightweight, made of thin ABS plastic, but are quite sturdy, well sealed and insulated. The only negative comment I have is that the mounting brackets are too long and thus do not pair up to the bracket sockets. Not using the brackets so it's not an issue, but for under $30 one can't go wrong. In all honesty these cheap little speakers sound better than the B&W Satellites they replaced.(B&W's, and Sony Amp, were were destroyed by lighting)
