The Audiovox CE148A is both a portable CD player and a portable FM/AM receiver. The casing is water resistant, allowing you to use the player in inclement weather conditions. With the electronic anti-shock system you will have forty-five seconds of playing memory. With the programmable playlist, you can program multiple songs into an unique order. The bass boost enhances listening enjoyment, while the included headphones provide comfortable, stereo sound. Other features include: hold, resume intro, repeat and random.

Good system, but better if you get better headphones,

I like the cd player. My old cd player really went through batteries this one is very good on batteries. I think the sound quality is there, but the pair of headphones that come with this unit is not to good. I went out and replaced them with a cheap Koss headphones which works great! Overall very much worth the money and I am glad I got them. I love the fact that my cdr's work on this as well.

This is my first portable cd player. I use it with a Sennheiser MX500 Earbud.The soundstage is open, wide, dynamic.I like it.
