The Audiovox CD530MP ups the ante on traditional shelf systems by playing MP3s in addition to prerecorded audio CDs and self-made CD-R and CD-RW discs. Listeners can search for specific MP3 tracks by file name or album, or they can program up to 64 MP3 songs to create their own soundtrack for parties and other get-togethers. The CD player also includes a programming mode, along with repeat and random functions and extensive search options. In addition, the system offers a digital AM/FM tuner with 20 station presets and a timer that lets users turn the system on an off at a specific time. The latter feature is great for people who don't own separate alarm clocks, or for folks who hate missing their favorite radio programs.
Extra features include a sleep timer, two 5-watt speakers, an easy-to-read LCD display, and a headphone jack. Listeners can control the system from a distance with the remote control, or they can choose to operate the CD player and radio using the front panel.

The main unit is quite larger than i supposed, and especially since its only a cd/stereo player. Why so large? also, the sensitivity of the am/fm rcvr doesnt seem to be very good...a guy across from me at work can pick up many stations, i can barely get one.
