This little RF modulator allows connection between newer DVD and VCR players (with RCA cables but no coaxial connection) and older televisions which have only a coaxial input/output jack. The RCA connection is inserted at the back and coaxials in the front.

I have a couple of these placed on older sets which are not used often and they work extremely well, with a bonus of being very small and unobtrusive. Other modulators are large and bulky requiring cabinet space on which to sit while this one can simply hang in-line with the cables. I wouldn't own any other type.

An excellent,compact modulator that is perfect for connecting a DVD to an older model television. Comes with simple,easy to follow instructions which makes it impossible to foul up when connecting the DVD to the TV. The picture and sound quality on the TV are outstanding. The digital modulator automatically switches the cable or DVD signal to the TV. Simply a great product for the money. The seller also provides outstanding service.

This is great for older TV sets that don't have the newer A/V inputs. I inherited an old Tv after my roommate moved out that I wanted to hook up a Playstation to. The RF modulator was very easy to install and worked immediately - in fact, it gave me about 20 more cable channels! I'm still trying to figure out how that worked, but who cares? -It's working great and now I get Sports Center!
