We purchased this DVD player to fly cross country with the children. Player is good quality picture and sound. Problem is there is no notification that battery is low. All of sudden screen goes to stripes then black and the battery is dead. Seemed like battery life is much closer to 4 hours than 6, never got past 4 1/2 hours of playing time.

I received this order very quickly and the player works nicely. It has a good picture but sound is bad and tinny unless you use good earphones. That makes it like watching the big screen,when close to it.:-)

I use this for travels with my kids and they love it. This DVD comes with accessories such as remote, AC & Car adaptors. Picture quality is OK for the price.

to my surprise my order was received the next day. i am very happy with the dvd player and use it often when travelling on long bus trips. only wish it came with ear phones, but i bought 2 pair and the price was still cheaper than at best buy.

We purchased one of these DVD players for our 5 year old daughter's use 2 years ago. Now, many many car, train and airplanes trips later, it is still going strong, though it was under the exclusive use of a young child. I cannot count how many times my daughter dropped this on a hard floor! The battery holds about a 3 hour charge, enough for several short videos or a couple of movies. Mine came with an adapter for the car, great for long car trips. It also has two audio jacks and two headphones for dual use. Sure, the audio quality is not great, but it's fine for a bored and crabby child! A real lifesaver!

Yes portable, yes you can hear it. 3/4 of the time the picture doesn't come it. You can't see the picture. My daughter has to keep pushing a button and basically has to hold her mouth right to get it to work. Very very frustrating. I don't know if they're all like this or we got a bad one. Overall, I would not buy it again and would spend a little bit more to get more!

I bought this for myself, it was never handled by the children, and it was certainly never handled roughly. After a year of minimal use it died. The DVD's spin, "loading" but never play. Apparently a very common problem, but it was out of warranty and I was out of luck on fixing it. It was handy to have and very portable, but entirely too short lived to be worth the money for the amount of play I got out of it.
