It's been over two months since I purchased the DVD player. Quality of the display is very good for a portable device. Speaker sound is OK and earphone sound quality is good. Never had any problems. My son watches movies in the car and at home. I read a lot of negative reviews about portable DVD players and I found this one to be the best value and the best customer review. I waited two months to write a review because I was expecting problems (after so many negative reviews about various dvd players). However, our DVD player is up and working great so far. I recommend this item.

After reading negative reviews on these devices, I lowered my expectations and was really surprised by the quality of this item for the price paid. The picture is clear, the sound is good (even better with the included headphones) and the controls are easy to figure out without even reading the manual. I've used the wall adapter, the car kit and run it on battery power and it works great in any mode. I am very pleased with this purchase so far.

I was very disappointed with this Audiovox product. I purchased the DVD player in December but decided to give it to my daughter in May for her birthday (that was a mistake). She opened it in May and used the DVD player twice before the screen went black. When playing a DVD the audio can be heard but there is not a picture. I contacted Audiovox and confirmed that the warranty for the DVD player is only 90 days and that no exceptions can be made. It would cost $99.00 to have the DVD player repaired. After shipping and handling I could go out and purchase a new DVD Player for about the same price! Why would I get this one repaired? Audiovox does not stand behind its products.

Really like this and got a great price. Having a little trouble with the movie showing on the screen at times- still looking over the instructions to see if we've overlooked something with the wires/hookup.

This problem is absolutely amazing, especially for the price that I paid for it. Audiovox is an excellent quality brand and it really gives you your moneys worth. It even came along with accessories. Another great bonus is that you can use the storage case holder to convert to use to hang on the back of car seat to use with comfort while driving!

We are very happy with this product. Its the perfect size for travel and at just the right price!

I purchased this unit for multiple purposes including homeschooling and travel and it has not disappointed. It is compact, easy to use and works great. My only comment would be the 2hr battery length. That might be a problem for some but for our uses it does not hamper us in anyway. We are always using it near an outlet or car plug in.

I ordered two of these in advance of my granddaughters (8 and 12 yrs. old)
recent visit. One failed in 24 hours. The screen would go blank if not in a certain position. Loose connection I think. The other unit got a real workout for 6 days by those kids! I returned the bad unit and got a 8 day turn around from 6th Ave Electronics. Great customer sat department!
I decided to check the new unit out before shipping to my granddaughter in Texas. I charged the battery for 24 hours and played "Meet Joe Black", a three hour film. Pretty good movie, by the way. The battery expired right after the credits finished. I rate this unit so well because of the value in the "car ready" package and the stout battery.
