I bought this for my husband mainly for airline travel. He loves the size of the screen and and the compact profile. He described the sound quality as very good. The battery lasts about 3 1/2 hours. Overall, an excellent value for the price.

The best feature of this DVD player is the capability of connecting a USB device to view digital photos. The slideshow is somewhat on the slow side. The ability to adjust the screen contrast could be better for a sharper picture. Overall I like the product and would recommend it to others.

The Audiovox D2016 is sleek and performs as well as it looks. It is easy to operate and battery setup is excellent. I have found the entire package to be very satisfactory with no complaints at all.

I bought this DVD player for an upcoming flight. I also use it for my toddler at restaurants. Wow! Phenomenol picture & great sound! I was so impressed with this unit that cost much le$$ than other brands. We love it so much we are purchasing another (on our flight my toddler was captivated, he watched all his "Diego" & "Dora" shows, he was an angel on the plane thanks to this baby! I watched a movie on another flight with my new JVC noise-canceling headpkones (another great buy & reasonable price) With these headphones & DVD player, I almost forgot I was on a plane. I cound not hear the droning of the engine & it was like I was in my own private movie theatre. JVC HANC80 Folding Noise Cancelling Headphone Also, the case I got that fits perfectly was. Case Logic DVS9 DVD Player Shuttle for 10-inch DVD Players Perfect fit, holds some DVD's, great for travel. So I would highly recommend this DVD player, slim line design made it great to fit in my cary on bag kept under my seat on the plane.

I'M ABSOLUTELY THRILLED WITH THIS PLAYER. SCREEN SIZE IS TOPS. IT HAS A BETTER PICTURE THAN MY T.V..I'M SURE I GOT THE BEST PLAYER FOR MY MONEY. BUT AMAZON MADE IT GREAT WITH SUPER FAST, NO FUSS DELIVERY. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THIS ITEM OR SELLER. THANKS PAM

We've been very happy with our portable DVD player so far (we've had it for a few months). We had picked this particular model because I wanted to be able to display my digital photos on it when we were traveling. The picture quality is probably an 8 out of 10 but I wouldn't have notice the difference if I hadn't looked at (it feels like) every portable DVD player on the market. I think it is an excellent value for the price.

I was pleased with this product until stopped working 3 weeks after I bought it. Of course, the seller only guarantees it for 10 days and only if you keep the original packaging. The seller offered to take the product back and replace it for me only if I promised to take down my negative review and only if I had the original packaging. They claimed they could not send it to audiovox without the original packaging but meanwhile audiovox assured me that I could send it to them with no problem in another box. That is ridiculous and I advise everyone to not buy this product or anything from this vendor. I had to pay more money to send it back to audiovox and who knows if they will fix it or what. This has been a huge hassle and I am never buying from an amazon vendor again.

I read existing reviews for this product and was impressed by them. They indicated that the sound was excellent, picture was excellent. However, I now feel that I was merely paying for portable DVD use for 3 months -- the length of warranty. It cost me $50 per month to have a portable DVD player available. We also have an Audiovox dual car DVD player system. It jumps repeatedly and will quit playing if the cords connecting the two players are touched. I will not purchase an AudioVox product again in the future. Their quality leaves a lot to be desired.

The image and sound are good, but the life of the new battery is only 1.5 hours instead of Audiovox claimed "at least 2.5 hours", hardly to cover a normal movie.

Very good DVD player, works as expected, arrived within time frame. I'm very happy with this purchase
