Product Description

Size: 7-Inch | Style: Video Message Center

We taken the digital picture frame and cranked it up a notch. Or three. With the homebase message center and digital picture frame. We started with a sharp, bright 7-in LCD digital picture frame, with enough memory to hold over 125 high resolution pictures! Then wrapped it in an erasable white board, with magnetic border for notes and coupons. There's even a little slot for a Post-it pad. The homebase adds a built-in microphone, for recording voice messages. The video version goes up a step further, with a tiny camera that lets you leave full-color video messages. Accessories include dry erase marker, Post-it note pad and color matching wire management strip to that match your refrigerator color. This item can be mounted on the wall or fridge and includes countertop mounting brackets. Perfect gift for moms.

The buttons often have contact problems, and I have to press many times to get it started. Angelshome  |  4 reviewers made a similar statement
It's a novelty item that you probably shouldn't waste your time with, sorry. Connick  |  3 reviewers made a similar statement
A good idea but very badly executed. Mark Catan

The audiovox message center is interesting, but maybe a little slow to be completely useful! I like being able to record a message and have the light come on to indicate a message. The light is also on for a calendar event that has a message, so sometimes it's hard to tell the difference. I couldn't get the card reader slot to read my SD card, but was able to easily load some pictures using my flash drive. It's a fun conversation piece, but we are using it more as a digital frame right now.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good concept, but a so so product January 12, 2009
Style Name:Message Center| Size Name:7-Inch|Amazon Verified Purchase
The idea of having a digital picture frame with message center is great. However, this product is a bit hard to use. There are 4 buttons: menu, message, and up & down. The buttons often have contact problems, and I have to press many times to get it started. And you have to do everything with these buttons, so it is a pain. But I guess it is still better than just a digital picture frame...

1.0 out of 5 stars Serious Disappoint - Avoid January 5, 2009
Style Name:Message Center|Size Name:7-Inch
Initially I was impressed by the design of this unit... Hey, a 7" Digital Photo Frame, a message center, a calendar and space for notes. Pretty good. However, the set up and controls are a hassle and took the smile off. Then when I turned on the photo viewer I found out that the quality was pathetic. The photos are grainy, the colors are saturated and over all a disgrace. Audiovox provides no adjustment to tone down the overpowering reds and balance the ever present green. You won't want to show the full 7" photos, thus, the best you can do is set the display to thumbnail and split screen it with a clock. It is sad that Audiovox coulda/woulda had a good product if they would not have cut the corners to save a few bucks and chose to put in a descent display. This is not an inexpensive product but it is cheaply made one. Sad. Not Recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars This thing rocks! May 16, 2010
Style Name:Video Message Center| Size Name:7-Inch|Amazon Verified Purchase
I love this! It is an awesome product! The picture and video are super easy to use and the calendar feature I use to leave myself video reminders as far as a month out! The only downside is that the sound quality is very poor... I ended up opening it up and hooking up a cheap pair of passive speakers to it and it was night and day different (Be advised: This involved soldering, and is NOT plug and play)

Awesome product! If they advertised this on mainstream media, I am certain that everyone would want one!

5.0 out of 5 stars great fun and inexpensive December 23, 2011
Style Name:Message Center| Size Name:7-Inch|Amazon Verified Purchase
I was scared to order this after reading the bad reviews. but it was exactly what i needed in my kitchen since I leave a note everday. the review about the sound being poor was what worried me most since i thought it would be fun to leave a voice note. well their is a volume button and i had it turned up all the way and it was very loud. it was too loud i had to turn it down . so great that works! picture quality is good. as long as you start with a good photo, if your picture is blurry it will look poor. it is easy to hang up and they give you things to hide the cord. if you have a white wall you will be able to hide it, my wall is yellow and it didnt look good so idecided to change location and its fine. i love this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars A neat gadget January 8, 2009

This works well, is handy for leaving messages and starting a grocery list. It is also a good calendar and date reminder. I especially like the digital picture frame. I enjoy walking through the kitchen and watching pictures of my family scroll by - always makes me smile.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not what I thought January 13, 2012
Style Name:Message Center| Size Name:7-Inch|Amazon Verified Purchase
The idea of this item is pretty cool i think! However, it worked rather slow and navigating through the unit was not simplistic. The erase marker that was included with this item didn't work either. The sound quality was AWFUL. This item is definitely getting returned.

1.0 out of 5 stars good concept but not quite there January 22, 2010
Style Name:Message Center| Size Name:7-Inch|Amazon Verified Purchase
good concept of keeping notes and voice reminders in one spot. the calendar feature leaves A LOT to be desired. No way to customize it. You can post a reminder or event on the day but no way to identify WHAT the event is in text form. The event reminder feature is a light that tells you there is a memo or event on that day but there are too many buttons to push to get to the memo. To post an event, there are about 4-5 icon options and that's it. For instance, birthday is an option but you would have to rely on your memory of WHO's birthday it is-no way to imput text. I was hoping this would act more like hte Outlook calendar on my PC but it is far from it. I'm going to sell this and just use the Calendar with Reminders on my PC. My PC also has my digital pics as it's screensaver so the dig pic frame is not something i need either. Leaving notes on the counter has worked for us this far...might as well save the money and time and keep doing that. we found the magnetic wiggle penn and wiggle pad are very useful on the fridge. Hope this helps
