The Audiovox MVIRHS is a single wireless infrared headset for use with the Audiovox WHS100 wireless headphone system or VOH6XX series of flipdown pods. This high-tech convenience accessory eliminates annoying wires, allowing you to enjoy music or video without the tangle of cables around you. It has a 25-foot range and is powered by 2 AAA batteries. The convenient auto-shutoff feature saves battery life by automatically turning off the unit after 3 minutes without a signal.

These headphones are for Audiovox automobile videosystems (both overhead and mounted between front seats).
Audiovox is the only vendor I've found that actually offers additional wireless headphones for their automobile video systems.
The headphones themselves are excellent: good quality sound and wide range of IR reception. Very economic with the 2 tiny AAA batteries. Haven't been able to run through them in months of usage.

We have a Honda Odyssey mini van and the stock headsets broke. Rather than paying $80 for another pair of stock headsets, we got these. We have a 5 year old and they fit his head a lot better than the stock headsets, they are more comfortable and robust. They also work great with the 2005 Honda Odyssey.

I got one of these for my VOH1042DL and they work great. I'm guessing these work with the entire Audiovox line equiped with an IR transmitter.

Not sure how anyone confuses this with a wireless kit. There is not a transmitter in the description nor the picture. But I have seen other 'kits' on Amazon, with what appears to be the same headset, with a transmitter. So keep looking.

For anyone needing driections, here goes:
1) Insert Batteries
2) Press Power button
3) Install on head
4) Adjust volume as needed.
