Audiovox is the only vendor I've found that actually offers additional wireless headphones for their automobile video systems.

3.0 out of 5 stars work fairly well
These fit my 3 & 6 year old's heads, but they shut off at certain angles. If I hand it back to my daughter, it shuts off. It may have been just a quirk with ours, but I sold the van a few weeks ago and I have no need to figure it out. They did turn themselves off after a perid of time which saved the batteries. And they were very comfortable for my daughters. It was...

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great, July 9, 2007

We have a Honda Odyssey mini van and the stock headsets broke. Rather than paying $80 for another pair of stock headsets, we got these. We have a 5 year old and they fit his head a lot better than the stock headsets, they are more comfortable and robust. They also work great with the 2005 Honda Odyssey.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is NOT a kit, these are add-on head sets., December 22, 2004
This review is from: Audiovox MVIRHS Wireless Infrared Headset for WHS100 Headphone System (Electronics)
I got one of these for my VOH1042DL and they work great. I'm guessing these work with the entire Audiovox line equiped with an IR transmitter.

Not sure how anyone confuses this with a wireless kit. There is not a transmitter in the description nor the picture. But I have seen other 'kits' on Amazon, with what appears to be the same headset, with a transmitter. So keep looking.

For anyone needing driections, here goes:

1) Insert Batteries

2) Press Power button

3) Install on head

4) Adjust volume as needed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works with Honda Odyssey RES, December 7, 2007

This review is from: Audiovox MVIRHS Wireless Infrared Headset for WHS100 Headphone System (Electronics)
I bought these for my 2003 Odyssey EXL with factory DVD system (RES) after reading a review that they would work. I also bought a pair of different Wireless IR headphones (Bravo IH-02A) which did not work. I researched to try to find out which Models/Brands would work with my vehicle, but didn't have much luck. I had to learn by trial and error, so hopefully this will help someone else out. I am not sure what other vehicles these will work with, although they should work with the i-VES system.

I gave 5 stars because of price and compatibility. They also seem sturdy, but time will tell how long they last. Do they sound as good as my Bose headphones? No, but the sound is clear and they didn't cost near as much. They fit my 3 and 5 year old really well and also adjust to fit an adult. I was concerned they would not fit a small child, but found they fit better than the Bravo's which are designed for kids. I ended up buying two more pair.

4.0 out of 5 stars good set of headphones, November 5, 2007

Nice headphones for the price. Works well with my 2004 Honda Odyssey and at half the price as the Honda OEM headsets, quite a bargain. Will buy again if the kids destroy this set. Hopefully they will resist the use.

Thanks C. Thompson from Boulder. He helped with a good review for Honda's!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars excellent product, October 29, 2007
This review is from: Audiovox MVIRHS Wireless Infrared Headset for WHS100 Headphone System (Electronics)
I have a JVC DVD player I bought and had installed at Circuit City about 2 years ago. I needed 2 more headsets so that when my kids friends and cousins ride with us they too can watch and hear movies. I looked at BestBuy and Circuit City first for additional wireless headphones but they either did not carry them or they were over $50 a pair. So I bought these and they are great!
They are the exact same model as the ones that came with the DVD player. (which was not planned)
I simply put batteries in them (which came with them Surprise!) and they worked right away!
I am very happy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works with Toyota factory DVD system in 2005 Sienna, February 25, 2008

Got these to replace some of the highly unreliable Toyota headphones in my 2005 Toyota Sienna. They are better built and work flawlessly - even from the front seat. By the way, the picture does not match the product. The set I received has round ear covers that are more like leather-coverd donuts as opposed to the solid oval foam depicted in the picture. Frankly, I like what I received better. Curiously, the set in the picture look like the Toyota factory set. These fit even my 3-year old snugly and they have lots of expansion room.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great headphones for little ones, January 13, 2008
This review is from: Audiovox MVIRHS Wireless Infrared Headset for WHS100 Headphone System (Electronics)
I bought these headphones to replace two sets of the same make and model. They fit my 5 and 6 year old very well, they are easy to adjust the volume. The two sets I was replacing have made it through two vehicles and they finally had been stepped on and broken but they still worked if you put them on

Recieved these today (1/5/2008). Just a note to say they work fine in a 2005 Town & Country minivan with factory installed DVD. Seems to be everything they are advertised to be.

I bought two sets hoping that they would work with my 2008 Honda Odyssey. They work great. Good quality and a real bargin. Automatic shut off if left idle is a good battery saving feature.
