Could be a great product if more engineering went into the design,

I have had Sirius for years now and I have enjoyed the programming. My Sirius Sportster 4 die about a year ago and I have been using the iPhone to stream via blue tooth to the radio. Sirius appears they were not going to come out with any new, good ones, radios I figured I would get this so I can tuck it under the dash.
My main issue with the Sirius SNYSC1 Interface for Sony is that I have to pair this with the Sirius SCC1 Connect Universal Tuner. I don't see any valid engineering reason why they can't combine these two units into one unit. Yeah, people will claim they have one universal tuner and an interface module for the various radio systems, but I know they could have done some great engineering and combined the tuner and interface module into one unit. Having to mount two units under the dash is a pain. In the end it is nice to have my dash free of visible cables and antenna wiring, but this could have been so much cleaner if Sirius combined these two units.

make sure you write down the SID number from the back of the unit before having it installed. It should also be on the packaging but don't bet on it...you might also be able to get it from the head unit but if it's a new stereo and you don't know how to work it yet, it might take you a while to find it and you'll need the SID to activate your sirius membership and get the satellite signal on your head unit.

My fault that I bought a Sony, but I love it. The interface unit was easy to install and the satellite radio works great. I would buy this again.
