4.0 out of 5 stars As Far As $6 Rags Go - This one is good
What can i say about paying $6 for a rag? Apparently i can't use an old shirt on my $2,000 plasma TV so because of FUD (Fear Uncertainty and Doubt) i ended up paying $6 for a rag. Other than the price - it works really well - i rub it on the TV and the marks come off. Tah-dah!

3.0 out of 5 stars It's a cleaning cloth
This cloth seems alright. It's not as nice as some other ones I have but I suppose it gets the job done.

I use this to get dust off my LCD television and it works well. Doesn't scratch the screen or anything. A must have for larger screens.

This is the best compromise I have found for cleaning optical gear, and electronic equipment. Bigger than the run of the mill, sunglass cleaning cloth (5x8"), but smaller than the (17x24") behemoth. Seems to do a good job on my big screen TV (coated plastic screen), and to clean my flat screen monitor (ditto), as well as my coated eyeglasses, sunglasses, rifle scopes, etc.

You do not want a cotton cloth for this purpose, the microfiber material will not harm coated optics, as cotton does. (Most hem thread is cotton, even if the cloth is microfiber.) Be sure to use an alcohol based cleaner on this sort of thing, unless you KNOW it's safe to use ammonia cleaners. No household cleaners, or Windex, if you want them to have a long life.
