Previously I had an Advent DVD in a 2003 Toyota Sequoia. I bought the vehicle new & never had a problem with the player in any way. It is still working perfectly now according to the new owners & have never had any issues. I purchased a 2008 Toyota Sequoia & was persuaded that this Audiovox 12.1" was the very best available. They installed it in March 2009 it didn't make it thru the year before it quit. They replaced it & claimed it was just a fluke. This time we made it almost a year before it crapped out AGAIN. This time we were preparing for vacation & wanted it operational for the long drive. Audiovox promised to repair it & have it back to me which they did or at least I thought. We began our road trip & it didn't make it thru the very first movie before it broke again. (so I had 2 very disappointed kids) Now my thoughts are replace it. The shop called Audiovox with me witnessing the call & they tried to claim that it was the shops fault that it was installed incorrectly. So now in the last 2 months & a 1500 mile road trip I have been without a DVD player because of a faulty product & I still don't have one that is functioning yet. I'm very disappointed in Audiovox & will NOT EVER purchase a product of theirs again.It cost more than the Advent & has proven not nearly as good a product. Yes the larger screen is great if it works. But with Audiovox that is an HUGE IF!!

We have been using the Audiovox 128A for a month now and couldn't be happier with it. The picture and sound are great and the controls are easy to access and use. I have a Ford Freestyle and the screen size is just about the right size for this vehicle. The bulit in FM modulaor is great and it is easy to find a new station if the one you selected has static. Being able to choose between 16 stations is nice. My last system let me choose betwen 3 stations. I installed this myself and it was not too difficult. However, I am familier with auto electrical systems, so if you are not, I would recommend a professional do it for you.

I purchased the JMV12 about 2 years ago and it is broken already. The pictue quality, while it lasted, was very good, but what is the use if it doesn't last. Although 2 years old, the tv/dvd had very few actual viewing hours on it and it isn't a cheap unit. I'm very disappointed!
