I don't really remember this book too well. But that may be the fault of my Auditing professor as he was one of the best professors I've ever had. Unfortunately, this isn't a review for him so I'll try to keep it on the book.

From my experience the book does give you several good examples of auditing situations/terms/events that you should be aware of if you are trying to pursue public accountancy. However, be advised that the majority of stuff you learn in this book (and subsequently any Auditing stuff from the CPA materials), will be very rarely used in real life. This is more of a book to give you some "concepts" to help you when you're in the field.

UNPROFESSIONAL ZERO STARS! I purchased item in January 2010, got it March 2011. Seller has no return policy online but will not let me return it and would make no exceptions even though they were grossly negligent... Now the book is worthless and I can't get any compensation back, not to mention the class I needed it for is long since over.

I have read the Table of Content and one Chapter of that and think this is a well organized and understandable textbook. It uses plain English and introduces from outside to inside of auditing, step by step. I have read Becker CPA review (Auditing part) before, the contents are not presented in order and make me confusing.

The book arrived sooner than expected which is always nice. The book is well organized and the exhibits are relevant. The learning objectives are listed at the beginning of each chapter and each section lists its own applicable learning objective so you do not forget the relevance of that section, which is very useful when you have 30 pages to read for a chapter. The book also contains highlights throughout the book titled "Auditing Insights" that provide additional information about legal cases and applicable regulations relevant to a specific topic. This is really a nice feature. If you want to know how a standard or law is actually practiced the Insight gives you your answer.

Worked out great, I got the book in time for my class and saved money!

The price for this expensive college textbook was the best I could find. I purchased new; it came shrinkwrapped in perfect condition and on time. Better price and shipping alternatives than purchasing from my school.

I just now figured out that the wrong book was shipped to me on 7/10/08, I have started the class and am trying to order the correct book and trying to get some form of refund. I will update if there is anything new to add to this comment.

Horrible, I've waited around 1 month before I received the book.
