Product Description

The F-90 is a miniature pre-polarized condenser microphone that is very low profile and is exceptionally easy to use. Designed primarily for use with drums and percussion, the F-90 will fit into very tight places and can be used beneath cymbals, in between drums, on frame drums, hand percussion instruments, and rim-style mounts. Operation requires phantom power of 9-52 volts and a phantom power adapter is included. I bought this for a bodhran but had to try it out on my guitar first. I just put it on a table in front of the guitar, about 12 inches away and turned on my recorder (Olympus LS10) to get a first impression. Seems to be a nice well balanced mic. I will give it the live sound check tomorrow with an Irish band, but do not expect any issues. I have an mp3 if anyone is interested in what a guitar sounds like recorded through a drum mic :)
