Pretty, but not their best,

This review is from: Audubon Nature Calendar 2008 (Calendar)
I get the Audubon Nature calendar every year and I'm never disappointed. They usually provide a wide array of interesting photos and locations, but this year is very heavy on cliffs and mountains. While all of the photos are beautiful, only 4 include non-mountainous scenes. Photos include Archer Nat'l Park, UT, Hoh Rain Forest, Mount Wallace, Grand Teton Nat'l Park, Zion Nat'l Park, Cypress Gardens, Dinosaur Nat'l Monument, Mono Lake, Harcuvar Mountains, Proxy Falls, OR, Grand Canyon and Sierra Nevada. This is a pretty calendar, but I saw the Sierra Nature calendar and thought it had better photos.

If you're looking for a calendar that shows beautiful images, this one is for you. Each month have a great image so you won't get tired of watching these images. Also, there's enough room to write notes in the calendar area. Finally, there's a brief description of the landscape included for each month so you have the change to learn a little bit about these places.

I'd look at the Sierra Club calendar instead. The Sierra Club calendar is in a nicer format (pages are longer and hangs better on your wall), and the pictures are consistently beautiful or awe-inspiring.

I am hoping the 2010 version is as lovely as this one was. I even looked up some of the places pictured to learn more because they were just so gorgeous.

As Ansel Adams demonstrated with his wonderful work, nature is the ultimate beauty. This calendar transports you on a daily and monthy basis to a realization that nature nutures.
