Book Description

July 1, 2006
A Rocky Mountain bee plant lending its color to a Colorado desert, a profusion of balsamroot and paintbrush clustered along the Columbia River Gorge, a sea of lupine blanketing the rolling grassland of the Zumwalt Prairie, the lovely lilac flowers of penstemon reveling in the rays of the sun—Audubon Wildflowers captures the exuberance of North America’s flowering plants. It celebrates the serendipitous desert bouquet, the blooms that burst forth in fields, the insistent stems that spring up along trails and meandering streams. Every month reveals vibrant jewels of color, shape, and texture. They are a vision of nature’s garden.

This review is from: Audubon Wildflowers Calendar 2007 (Calendar)
What a lovely calendar from the Audubon Society, that features not only native flowers, but stunning landscape vistas as well. The photography is abundantly illustrious of our great country, with the colorful features of the native flowers set in their native habitats. The layout of the month is easily read with clear numerals and words.
