Holy Grail,
This review is from: August '74 (Audio CD)
This is organic building swirling droning electronic music built with traditional Japanese and western instruments(guitars, oscillators, microphones). Haunting, sometimes dark, but ultimately beautiful hopeful soulful. Two discs of 2 long pieces each, in a beautiful double lp cd replica, plus vinylAugust 1974 [RARE].
This is where Floyd, Tdream, Ash Ra, etc wanted to go. These guys got there. The other releases are 'Stockholm July 1971'Live Stockholm July, 1971 [RARE]; and one simply titled 'July 15, 1972'July 15 1972andJuly 15 1972 . There is a tour movie, and one other compilation release called OZ. Takehisa Kosugi was the violinist, and has a few releasesCatch Wave. |
