Father Lawless provides unparalleled scholarship in attempting to substantiate a Tagastan Monastery during Augustines lifetime. The book is a definite valuable addition to the library of knowledge of early beginnings of monastics following Augustines Rule who evolve by the middle ages into the Order of Hermits of St. Augustine.
