Revisionism,

This review is from: Augustus to Constantine: The Rise and Triumph of Christianity in the Roman World (Paperback)
Written within a semi-secular agenda, it mitigates the faith-encounters of early martyrs as if unable to understand how Christians facing death would refuse to worship the Emperor of the time. For that reason and others I consider it worthless.
