Anything MK Brown puts together HAS to be at another level - even a cookbook.There are of course recipes, real bona fide recipes, as per the alter ego of MK Brown - Mary Brown; but throughout the book, MK Brown emerges through a series of drawings, as heart-stoppingly pleasing and revealing and stark as her drawings always are. I finally gave the book to someone really nice for Christmas, knowing that it would always provoke a double take from anyone who looked at it.
