5.0 out of 5 stars Auntie Claus and the Key to Christmas
BRAVO!! Elise Primavera has again created a modern Christmas classic. The sequel to Auntie Claus is beautifully illustrated and splendidly written. My children have loved all of her books, but these two are their favorites. Merry Christmas, Auntie Claus.

2.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy it if you don't "do" Santa with your kids.....
....unless you wish to be offended. I don't know about you, but I don't appreciate being portrayed as an "unattractive adult" and told that I enjoy seeing bad events unfold and/or raining on other people's parades. Aside from being judgemental, the book is beautifully illustrated and a good length for the price. Pages are on the thicker side, so that's nice. I wish it...

Kudos to Elise Primavera! Her follow-up to Auntie Claus, "Auntie Claus and the Key to Christmas", is as delightful and amusing a tale as her first. My grandaughter loved reading more of the wonderful adventures of Auntie Claus, the Bing Cherry Hotel and the Kringle's. Ms. Primavera's enchanting and whimisical illustrations will delight both children and parents alike. Her talent as both a storyteller and illustrator make this book a perfect addition to any child's library.

5.0 out of 5 stars SO MUCH FUN!, December 12, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Auntie Claus and the Key to Christmas (Hardcover)
This sequel to "Auntie Claus" is fabulous! My kids and I loved the first book and "Auntie Claus and The Key to Christmas" is just as great! Even the website ... is unusal and loads of fun, with a quiz to see if the kids are on Santa's BB&G (Bad Boys and Girls) List. My kids look forward to checking Mr. Pudding's Newsflash from the North Pole everyday.

Ms. Primavera's rendition of the North Pole is a dreamscape of color, snow, and absolutely wondrous strange. With a message that conveys the power of the invisible, it is a Christmas story to be read year after year!

This book is a must have for the holidays. My children loved the illustrations...and the story too! It's hard to find good holiday reading for children but "the key to Christmas" is a rare find. I would strongly recommend this book and the original Auntie Claus too. It is a soon to be holiday classic that the whole family can enjoy.

5.0 out of 5 stars A New American Icon!, December 12, 2002

Great story! Great art! Great fun! Auntie Claus is the new american icon! This sequel to Elise Primavera's wonderfully imaginative "Auntie Claus", invites us back into the magical world of the Kringles. This time, Sophie's younger brother Chris continues the adventures, and what adventures they are! Taking the elevator ride of his life, Chris rockets to the North pole, only to find the gates locked! The Spam twins (love to hate them!) and the little dogs (love to love them!) are wonderful characters, exceeded only by the Prunes!
Ms. Primavera's art is a rich, jewel-toned tapestry of color, movement and light, illustrating a world that will delight children of all ages as it reminds us that "Only the heart knows what is invisible to the eye."

5.0 out of 5 stars My Favorite Christmas Read!, December 24, 2011
A Kid's Review
I really like this book, and I've liked it for a long time. Every year we get all of the holiday books out and I always like reading this one on Christmas Eve. It really brings you back to the great Christmas spirit of believing. I would definitely recommend this book to people who love a creative Christmas tale. Primavera does a great job of creating characters. You will love Christopher's curiosity and in the end, proudness to be a Kringle despite others. Happy Holidays!

4.0 out of 5 stars Different take on Santa, December 3, 2011
Though a companion book to "Auntie Claus," "Auntie Claus and the Key to Christmas" stands well on its own. This unique story centers less on Santa Claus and more on being good at heart. There's magic and mysticism and jolly laughter thrown in for good measure. The accompanying illustrations are delightfully whimsical. And at $7.99 it's an inexpensive alternative for those looking to bolster their Christmas book collection.
