Essential Oils for Dreamy Sleep,
This review is from: Essential Oil Ylang Ylang 0.50 Ounces (Misc.)
Essential oils are doors to new experiences and Ylang Ylang is a more sensual oil that can be blended into massage oils and creams.
The tree is native to Indonesia and Malaysia and star-shaped pale yellow flowers with trailing and twisting petals produce a heady aromatic scent that also seems to have a slight lemony edge. The flowers are collected at night in May and June and the essential oil that is distilled is a highly evocative fragrance. Soft, exciting, sensual and almost invigorating yet makes you sleepy. A highly complex fragrance that leaves you a bit heady and definitely in the mood to relax. This oil is perfect for sensual moments, massage, bubble baths or just to apply to your wrists before bed. I've also been known to sprinkle this around smooth stones placed around candles. I would only recommend this essential oil for use when you don't have to be very aware and can drift off into a dreamy sleep. Add this oil to your evening bath or put a few drops on the top of your head before you do your evening yoga routine. ~The Rebecca Review

A VALUE AND THE REAL THING!,
By Andrew Chaplowitz (New Jersey) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Essential Oil Orange, Sweet - 0.5 oz - EssOil (Health and Beauty)
For those new to essential oils, there is a temptation to buy synthetic oils at the bargain basement. My plea: do not! They are made from mineral oil (a euphemism for petroleum), and excitotoxins. Despite their plesant smell, they are not healthful. Aura Cacia, as well as other brands, use the real plant extracts. Their concentration makes the cost differential less. And they have the scientific evidence behind them as well as theraputic value.
Ten drops in 6 oz of water, used as an area spray, will last you.

I use Sweet Orange essential oil at the end of the massages I give as a subtle way to bring the client back to their senses. Plantlife's brand definitely has stronger, sweeter notes than all of the other similar essential oils I have used, so that I use less product per client. Recommend it highly.
