Beautiful, August 6, 2007

I decided to spend the money on this instrument because if I was going to make any kind of a shrill racket and call it music, I wanted it to sound beautiful.
I got what I had hoped for. This is a marvelous, beautiful grenadilla wood instrument that glistens like a jewel (no kidding).
I had to wait for this to be made, and the seller *Apollo's Axes* was quick to let me know. It is worth the wait.
It is a remarkable thing to behold and to practice on.
As I mentioned about the pearwood Soprano version of this recorder that I have purchased, it is well worth the money to buy a simply beautiful instrument that one is proud to own and to use and practice on, and to avoid the plastic ones, except to test out the Sopranino concept.
