Great voice. Real talent with this women. Totally enjoy listening, even if the base is pumped up a little to much. But that is a common problem with todays music producers. She really needs to find a new producer. The one on this CD comes off as so amateurish, he must be someones nephew, or brother-in-law.
If someone does not understand german this girls singing is enough to make them want to learn it.
She gives new meaning to "Geman quality". To bad the hired help is not as good.
Oh! and Miss Catterfeld is very gentle to the eyes as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars No German Needed, The Music Speaks For Itself, April 16, 2008

Only one song in English, the other 14 sung in her native German but to be honest that's the least of my problems. In an ideal world, Yvonne Catterfeld will be bigger than some of the so called current day twenty something "superstars" (superstar only by virtue of massive radio and TV airplay) , Britney Spears, Hilary Duff , Lindsay Lohan, Kelly Clarkson included. The difference is simply this : Catterfeld's talent is real, the others too pre-packaged and ultimately synthetic, and come with an expiry date. Make no mistakes about this Catterfeld missile. Great voice, great songs (listen to her version of Bill Withers "Aint No Sunshine") and simply too short at 57 minutes. Gimme more as they say, and it's music like this that reveals how artificially ludicruous "talent" this side of the Atlantic has been packaged for mass consumption all these while. Give yourself a treat, discover Yvonne Catterfeld and you will discover the missing part of the equation.
