5.0 out of 5 stars Works Fine, Superior to Spray
We've just done our second broadcast studio and we find the tube adhesive much easier to work with than the spray, with better holding power at lower cost per square foot. Tubetak is a viscous adhesive, but there are no problems applying it with a decent gun (not a Lowes $2.99 throwaway) when the adhesive is at room temperature. You also don't have the worries of...

2.0 out of 5 stars too thick and messy / use spray fixative instead
I was creating some sound control panels using Auralex studiofoam.

The Tubtak was too thick, it broke one of my caulk guns. Its messy also and
took some effort to put enough on each panel ( 2 x 6 feet ). The spray fixative

Just make sure the spray fixative you're using is safe for foam that you
are installing.

Tubetak is a viscous adhesive, but there are no problems applying it with a decent gun (not a Lowes $2.99 throwaway) when the adhesive is at room temperature. You also don't have the worries of overspray, or breathing the spray, which is pretty nasty stuff. Tubetak does a far superior job on ceiling-suspended applications (you have to use a lot of spray to equal the adhesion).
