Bait and Switch,

I found the ad for a battery for my Dell laptop. Ordered it because it says the battery is by DELL.When I received the battery it is NOT a made by Dell battery it is a knock-off. When I talked to the girl at the seller's office she told me, after a lot of doulble talk and changing her story several times, she said it is not their fault. Amazon writes their website ads and they cannot control what Amazon writes. Then she had the guts to ask me to change my feedback to positive. Sounds like bait and switch to me but I could be wrong.

The retailer shipped me a battery that had a bad cell. They replaced it immediately. That replacement battery died after 15 months. It will not take a charge nor respond to the laptop. My original Dell Battery is still alive and well after 6 years of use. I put the original Dell back in the laptop and all is well again.
