A Raunchy Comedy - On the Level of the Best XXX Works!,

... and it's in Latin. The title just about sums it up - Auricula Meretricula means, in Latin, The Little Prostitute Auricula. Lest that should leave potential poor little Latin students - who hopefully are not prostitutes themselves - unaware of what is in store, just read the peerless passage in which the soldier character compares a specific virtue to a rose, in graphic detail. The villain is a pimp, too. Do you think that they wore gold necklaces and fur coats in 1st century Rome? Seriously, this book is incredibly entertaining - make a night of it for homework, translating this and the phallic-endowed Aristophanes comedy Lysistrata!

Great Story,

This book tells a vivid story that is easily accessed by students using Wheelock's Latin. The authors tied each progression in the story to new chapters in Wheelock's allowing a lighthearted reader to supplement Wheelock's classical readings.
