I bought this shredder for home use-- for junk mail, receipts, etc. It performs exactly as advertised, although it chugs along with 6 pieces of paper, so I usually stick to 3 at a time. The cross-cut makes it pretty much impossible to paste things back together. It also does credit cards. Would be nice if it does CDs/DVDs, but still a great paper shredder for the price. It has a nice safety guard too, which keeps my toddler's fingers out of it! Overall, a nice home office shredder!

UPDATE 4/2010: I stand by my earlier review, but would like to add that they are serious when they say don't shred envelopes, as the glue from them can jam the shredder over time. Their customer support line is wonderful though, and talked me through pouring vegetable oil over the blades to clean out the jam, and now it runs smoothly again.

I've been hunting around for a paper shredder for a while and I decided to give this one a whirl.

It works good, can eat quite a few pieces of paper at once, and I've yet to have any thermal overheating or shutdown issues.

The only thing missed on this unit is the lack of CD shredding, and if I were to complain about anything it would be that the paper bin is rather small and there is no easy way to brace it on a larger trash can for mass-shredding.

I've shredded several hundred pieces of paper in one sitting and the shredder chewed them up well.

Definitely recommended for a value shredder.

I've had this thing for two months. I've kept to a couple sheets at a time and the shredder is jamming. Paper gets caught in between the blades and you can't get it out. They offer a three year warranty, but I have to pay for the shipping for something that is worth $25 in order to get them to fix it.

It's definitely light-duty. I haven't fed more than 2 sheets at a time because it slows down with 2 sheets. It's more of a strip cut than cross-cut. I oiled it to see if it works better, but didn't see a difference. It's ok to shred some mails and such where you may not be too concerned to need a cross-cut or diamond-cut.

Product stopped working after just four months of low use. I wouldn't buy this again and I don't recommend it.
