I purchased 5 of these for my office and they are quite a disappointment. It is very hard to get any sheet into the machine to auto start. And I suggest not trying to put the 6 sheets it struggles with 2. We are returning all 5 and will try to buy another brand. Also they are very small 15in tall and 12wide.

Not only did this shredder not live up to its claims on the box, but it stopped working after 6 months of once a week light use! I can't recommend its purchase.

Like everyone else, mine jams easily with one piece of paper. Difficult to get it unjammed enough to have the auto-start re-engage. Mine is currently not working and I've only put about 20 pages of paper through it.

i bought this and after 2 weeks of use it got jammed and just stop working even after i tried to clear it this is a pice of junk and my next i will surly research before i buy my next one.

This was my first purchase for a paper shredder. I have been so pleased with this shredder. I have shredded documents that were paper clipped and also credit cards. All were shredded quite easily with the powerful teeth.
It has a forward, reverse as well as a safety feature.It will shred up to 6 sheets at one time.
Overall I would recommend this shredder to anyone, the price is moderate.

I'm getting a head start on spring cleaning, and decluttering in anticipation of moving to a new house, so I decided I really needed to purchase a shredder. I purchased this from Walmart earlier today and the performance was so poor on this shredder I never got to shred 8 single pages let alone 8 pages together. I was so throughly irritated that I had to come online and rate this junk immediately. Save your cash, purchase something better!

Please read all the bad reviews here. This item is not fit for sale. I used it a total of 4 times over a 2 week period and it broke when feeding 5 sheets through. It locks up and appears to burn out the forward gears. Still runs in reverse but no good there. It amazes me that a company could sell such a product that obviously was not tested adequately. Will go ahead and spend more for a better, more reliable product. And by the way the sound is horrendous and very loud.

This really is piece of junk. BUT, if you only are going to shred a couple of pieces of paper now and then, it will do what you want. The basket is incredibly small (the size of a WalMart plastic bag) and you have to remove the bills from the envelope and shred them seperately. I was shredding several years worth of bills, the machine seemed to overheat and cut off several times before cooling off. I wish that I had spent a few extra bucks (this was cheapest at WalMart) to get something a little better.

This shredder is a real PIECE OF JUNK! I've had it about a week and it won't even shred 2 pieces of paper, never mind 6, without jamming up!
It's a nightmare to clear a blockage! It's going back!

I called the companys' 800 number and the rep told me to return it.

I'll buy another brand next time. This one is a real waste of money!

I am mostly writing this because it states it's 'crosscut', but mine comes out in strips. Isn't crosscut supposed to be where it cuts it in an 'X' form so that it's not just regular strips???? Well mine definitely isn't crosscut. Mine seems to jam a lot like others have reviewed, but that could be due to my wanting to get the shredding done, and therefore put more than 6 pieces of paper through it. I just don't have the patience to do one at a time. Especially since I had several years of stuff to shred when I got this thing for Christmas.
