Perfect summer reading, whether you're a Sookie Stackhouse fan or not,

I ordered this after making my way through the whole Sookie Stackhouse series for the umpteenth time. I decided to just buy the whole omnibus since I found the series (and the Lily Bard series) hard to find, I had my fingers crossed it would hold up to the Sookie books, and I wasn't disappointed. Harris' quirky style is just as enjoyable in these as in the supernatural "Southern Vampire" books and was actually a nice change of pace. I think we're all starting to get a little sick of vampires everywhere! I liked it so much that I bought the second Teagarden omnibus, as well as the Lily Bard omnibus, and have plans to pick up the rest of Harris' books.
