Product Description

As a scientist, Aurora's seen and done it all...until she discovers two frozen -- not to mention hot! -- vampires in the laboratory's underground facility... Alone one late winter's night at a remote Greenland research center, scientist Aurora Seagress discovers two frozen bodies in an underground lab. Damn her luck, but it seems the cooling unit has malfunctioned and temperatures are rising -- including hers. One look at the two handsome, thawing men and fate takes a new turn. The mysterious, well-chiseled hunks awaken and claim she's theirs. Aurora hasn't a clue who these arrogant men are, or why her boss has hidden them away, but what she really wants to know is...why is it they put her into a sexual fever she can't seem to cure?

Vampires Endre Boldizsar and Tabor Firenzka have finally been resurrected. After being captured and frozen twenty-five years ago by Aurora's boss, there can't be any better prize -- or revenge -- than the gorgeous scientist who finally answered their telepathic calls and freed them. But there's a much larger mission to fulfill. Aurora must help them thwart the professor's extinction experiment against their Vencelze vampire race...and she must unite with them in a triangle of lust and love before it's too late.

Warning, this title contains the following: Explicit sex, graphic language, and menage-a-trois love scenes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Aurora's Triangle, January 19, 2008
This review is from: Aurora's Triangle (Kindle Edition)
Aurora Seagress is a scientist who was recently hired at the Hartford Science Research Station and Mining Center, which is on an island off of Greenland. Aurora has several reasons that she wanted this job, one of which she is keeping to herself for now. When the Center's lead scientist is taken off the island for a medical problem, she is told not to go into the freezer labs and to leave the bodies alone. Of course Aurora can't resist going down and checking out what the situation is. What she finds are two amazing looking, naked men and they are thawing out.

Endre Boldizsar and Tabor Firenzka are Vencelze vampires. Vencelze vampires are also shape shifters, but their second self is not that of a bat. They and others were tricked onto the island and frozen and held captive for several years. With Aurora's unwitting help they have been revived, but to totally heal themselves they have to go back to their home. Both Endre and Tabor recognized that Aurora was meant to be the third to their Vencelze triangle.

While Aurora was not at all sure about this, she soon changes her mind and agrees to join with both of them as a true partner. Aurora is soon placed into a difficult position due to the secret she has kept since arriving at the research center. Endre and Tabor are making plans to not only get their people back but also for revenge. Can Aurora, Endre and Tabor find a solution or will they find their triangle broken soon after being made?

Aurora's Triangle partnered a human and vampires in a spiritual and physical triangle. Aurora, Endre and Tabor are joined not only with their human bodies during some hot sex, but also with their spiritual second selves when Aurora receives hers. I really liked that the animal, which was their second was not a bat, but one I thought appropriate. Actually there are several aspects of the vampires and their lives that I thought to be a nice refreshing change. Unfortunately, I found that several parts of the story seemed rushed and that I was left questioning some of the characters actions because of that. I also would have liked to have had more insight into the parts that were just known to the characters. Aurora's Triangle is not a bad story, I just think it could have been a bit more fulfilling.

Curiosity killed the cat, but that never stopped Aurora Seagress. When her boss is whisked off in an ambulance with one last caveat that Aurora must, above all else, stay out of the mysterious coolers. Aurora knows she should heed his directive, but she can't seem to help herself... Just one peek wouldn't hurt anything, right? What she finds not only shocks her, but changes her life forever.

Staring into the face of two very sexy, very naked men who are frozen in ice, and thawing quickly. Too late she remembered the Professor's warning to not, under any circumstances, change the temperature on the thermostats. A warning that becomes all too clear as she realizes the mysterious men are not corpses, but powerful vampires who have been imprisoned by the Professor and are now waking, determined to lay claim to Aurora as their mate...

I love a good book with a ménage relationship, and Titania Ladley's Aurora's Triangle had a great plot with some delicious twists. I enjoyed some very hot scenes with the threesome in this book, and was very intrigued by the vampire world the author created in this book.

Several of Titania Ladley's other novels have already established me as a fan of her work, and I was chomping at the bit to read Aurora's Triangle. I have to say, though, that I don't think this is the best example of her talent. While the story line was great and the surprises in the plot were wonderful, I felt that Aurora, Endre and Tabor fell out of character quite often. They often said or did things that did not feel natural for them, but were instead intended to push the story along. The story itself seemed rushed, and perhaps that can be attributed to it's novella length.

Having seen Ladley's writing talent previously, I have to believe that the biggest problem for this book was its brevity. The story is much too rich, the world it is set in too complicated for it to be well developed in only 80 pages (this was the PDF version.) As it is, I felt as if I had missed quite a bit of story by the time it came to a close.

If this book were to be reworked and lengthened, I would be first in line itching to re-read it. The premise is that good, as is Titania Ladley's skill. Her vampire mythos is so intriguing, it has potential to become a series, but I think it would lose momentum if this first book isn't allowed the opportunity to be fully fleshed out.
