Book Description

September 1, 2005
The first gassing of human beings in Auschwitz is claimed to have occurred on Sept. 3, 1941. The accounts reporting it are the archetypes for all later gassing accounts. This study exhibits the sources about this alleged event and analyzes them critically. It shows that these sources contradict each other in every essential point, rendering it impossible to extract a consistent story. Original wartime documents inflict a final blow to the tale of the first homicidal gassing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Carlo Mattogno at his BEST!, November 6, 2006
This review is from: Auschwitz: The First Gassing. Rumor and Reality (Paperback)
A revisionist classic that questions the Holocaust facts in a scholarly and academic and non-hateful and very loving way. Yet the publisher, Germar Rudolf, is in jail in Germany for THOUGHT CRIMES for writing "Lectures on the Holocaust."

5.0 out of 5 stars Another central plank of the orthodox holocaust story well and truly exploded: there was no "first gassing" at Auschwitz., August 28, 2011
This review is from: Auschwitz: The First Gassing. Rumor and Reality (Paperback)
Italian scholar Carlo Mattogno is without question the world's foremost authority on the concentration camp Auschwitz and in Auschwitz: The First Gassing he demonstrates via a thorough critical examination of surviving documents, many from the recently-opened Moscow archives and first examined by J.C. Pressac (who, because he could find nothing truly incriminating in them, then presented them to the world in the most deceptive way possible), that firstly there was no first gassing (and thus no subsequent "gassings" either) and secondly that those "scholars" and "historians" and "academics" who support, maintain and guard the official historiography are without exception liars & charlatans (and also outright morons) who employ the very deceptive methods they accuse revisionists of employing, such as opportunistic selection of text (as opposed to showing the full text including source references), quoting out of context whilst keeping the unwary reader in the dark about the full context, and (let's be honest here) lying through their collective teeth.

Carlo has now set the historical record straight once again on an aspect of the putative holocaust which is crucial to official history whilst thoroughly exposing the lies and deceptions of orthodox "academics". His methods are very simple; he considers the FULL context of surviving documents and applies the correct interpretation to supposedly incriminating terms (for instance "special action" or "special treatment" - see also Special Treatment in Auschwitz. Origin and Meaning of a Term by the same author). In this manner the real story of Auschwitz as a labour transit camp which was crucial to the Nazi war effort becomes much clearer, easier to understand, and far more believable, which really should not be such a huge surprise for this version of history is supported by evidence, as shown ad nauseum by Carlo here, in which the official version of history is sadly and laughably deficient.

The crucial point about the "first gassing" was because the result of this supposed "experiment" led to the Nazi's choice of Zyklon B as the main weapon in the extermination of the Jews. However, as Carlo shows in this book, the official line can only be maintained by ignorance of the full content of surviving documents and when these are examined closely the story falls apart in a way which would be laughable if not for the fact that there are now laws to prevent anyone finding out the truth of these things. These laws by now may also be applicable to laughing at the absurdity of this "story" (a good story should at least have continuity).

Auschwitz: The First Gassing, like all of the books in this series, is superbly well written, researched and argued. The standards of scholarship are far higher than anything to be found supporting the orthodox view, and the references and sources are far more complete; indeed, many of the original documents are photocopied in their entirety and included as appendices. The conclusion of Carlo's comparison of witness testimonies is unequivocal and I have taken the liberty of quoting at length in order to show exactly what it is we are told we must believe:

"One day, some time between the spring of 1941 and November/December of 1942, at Auschwitz, in the old crematorium or in the basement of block 11, or else at Birkenau, the first gassing of human beings was implemented. If giving exact dates, witnesses speak of either August 14 or 15, September 3-5, or 5-6, or 5-8, or October 9, 1941. The gassing was done after the evening roll call, during curfew, so that no one could see what was happening, or else in broad daylight before the eyes of the detainees who were enjoying a day off in the sun. The windows of the basement had been walled up or covered with earth or filled with sand or closed by wooden boards ahead of time. In the half-underground basement of block 11 either only Russian prisoners of war were locked in, they were only officers, or officers and noncoms, or simple soldiers, or partisans, or political commissars, or perhaps they were, in fact, not Russians but Poles, or they were Russian POWs and Polish detainees. The victims of the gassing numbered either 60, or 200, or 400, or 500, or 600, or 680, or 700, or 850, or 1,473 Russian POWs, plus 100-150, or 190, or 196, or 200, or 220, or 250, or 257, or 260, or 300, or 400, or 1,000 Polish detainees. What is certain, in any case, is that their total number was either 200, or 300, or 320, or 350, or 500, or 696, or 800, or 850, or 857, or 980, or 1,000, or 1,078, or 1,400, or 1,663.
The sick inmates had been selected in the hospital blocks either by Dr. Schwela, or Dr. Jungen, or possibly Dr. Entress. These sick patients were carried into the cells of block 11 by paramedics or perhaps by members of the penal company. Palitzsch all by himself or together with "Tom Mix," or with "the strangler," or maybe Breitwieser by himself threw into the corridor or into the cells a total of three cans or perhaps two cans into each cell. The Zyklon B was introduced through the door or through the ventilation flap or through openings above the doors to the cells. Gassing was done either in the cells, or in a single cell, or in the corridor, or in the "gas chamber," and the doors of the cells were either hermetically closed or had been removed. The victims died immediately or perhaps stayed alive for 15 hours. The corpses were removed either the following day, or the following night, or 1-2 days later, or 3 days later, or on the 4th day, or the 6th day, either only by paramedics, 20 or 30 or 80 of them, to be exact, or perhaps only by 20 detainees from the penal company. The work took either a whole day, or a whole night, or 2 nights, or 3 nights. The corpses were undressed either in the corridor, or in block 11, or in the yard outside, or not at all. The bodies of the victims were either taken to the crematorium and cremated, or perhaps taken to Birkenau and buried in mass graves, or perhaps partly cremated and partly buried."

In short, the testimonies of the former detainees and SS personnel are in total mutual contradiction on all essential points, i.e.:
- on the location of the first gassing,
- on the duration of the first gassing,
- on the date of the first gassing,
- on the hour of the first gassing,
- on the preparations for the first gassing,
- on the physician present at the first gassing,
- on the perpetrator of the first gassing,
- on the nature of the victims of the first gassing,
- on the number of the victims of the first gassing,
- on the persons who removed the corpses,
- on the beginning of the removal of the corpses,
- on the duration of the removal of the corpses,
- on the fate of the corpses removed,
- on the technique of the gassing,
- on the duration of the agony of the victims,
- on the number of Zyklon B cans used for the gassing.

The only point on which they agree is the alleged skin colour of those allegedly gassed; on this point however they all agree in error (what a surprise!) for all those witnesses who described the skin colour of the supposed victims describe blue or green skin, whereas the literature is very specific about this, and the reasons why: the skin of hydrogen cyanide victims is universally pink or red. The technique of the gassing as described by the supposed witnesses would have been moreover practically impossible to implement, and the result of such a gassing (the victims surviving for 15 hours in supposedly hermetically sealed rooms) physiologically impossible.

From this, the only conclusion an objective person can make is that the witness testimonies are totally unreliable and given that they are the only evidence of the crime, it therefore follows that the crime as elucidated by Judge Jan Sehn in 1946 then repeated by Danuta Czech in the Auschwitz Kalandarium and uncritically parroted since by all and sundry has no historical foundation.

Case dismissed.

their REAL function during the old Reich
