4.0 out of 5 stars Good starter guitar
For the money, I doubt you can find a better guitar. I was actually surprised at how well this guitar sounds once I got it tuned. It's good for people with small hands too. It's pretty light and thin, but the sound is great.

This item isn't worth the shipping i spent on it. I tried my best to tune this guitar and couldn't so i brought it to a professional who said it was nearly "untuneable". This guitar may get you with the original and then the sale price but be warned. It appears that they take all the defective and mismanufactured parts to make your "sale" guitar. My daughter couldn't be happier. Only time will tell how long this one will hold together (tuning to pitch seems to stress the front quite a bit). I had to grind the bridge way down to make it comfortable to play. All in all, this was a great bargain.

Do yourself a favor and please look at the object before buying an instrument especially for a beginner that way you know just what you are buying and that it will not be like this item was for me.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for the money, July 30, 2007

For the price, it can't be beat, simply stated. Now that's out of the way, I want to say that the blue paint is really an eye pleaser, but the only issue is that there are some spots were excessive paint has started to run, making it looked a tad rushed, but it's only noticeable if you thoroughly examine it. Also, it did come with a fairly large, but superficial scratch on the front. I don't mind it only because I believe such things give an instrument character, but it may pose a problem to others. Everything else was in fine working order, other than the strings feeling a little cheap, but what's an extra five dollars to add to a great product. I would probably buy another one of these first before I would buy one from wal-mart at twice the price and looking twice as feeble.
The accessories are great too, but the bag could use some help... it's only cheat cloth, but it does it's job. This is the second product I have bought from Austin Bazaar, and I still have no reason to complain. Very prompt and communicative service.

5.0 out of 5 stars Austin Bazaar Guitar with Bag and Accessories, January 7, 2009

My son asked for one thing for Christmas and it was a guitar. The price was half what they were asking for in stores.
When the item arrived I opened it and to my surprise it was the most beautiful guitar I've ever seen.
My son's eyes lite up on Christmas morning :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Guitar But One Flaw, November 13, 2008

We bought this guitar a year ago for our 12 year old daughter. It plays very well, and the strings haven't broken since. The only thing I would worry about when buying it is that the paint chips really easily. I remember one time our 6 year old son accidently hit it against the wall and the paint chipped a little piece off. But if your really careful with it, you'll enjoy playing this a lot. For beginners, I suggest buying an electronic tuner, because the tuner they give you doesn't really help you tune a guitar that well. xDD

Hope this helped you with your purchase! :]]

Spend a few extra bucks for better strings. All in all a nice guitar for the price.

4.0 out of 5 stars Yeah, WYSIWYG, August 16, 2007

This item was exactly what I expected it to be. Though G string broke as I was tuning it, the replacement(also sent in that package) works allright... There are few small scratches and the guitar was apparently broken and then fixed again. I say it was fixed, so now its allright. Otherwise, it looks like a guitar and sounds like one, so theres really nothing to complain about. I got what I paid for. Its a good guitar for fifty bucks. A plus for Austin Bazaar. I emphasise beginners and you guys who want an temporary instrument to play your favourite songs (like myself) to consider this one. Its worth the money.

SORRY that I bought Austin Bazaar Guitar
i was really disappointed about it
There were a lot of scratches and some dents
The guitar looks like refurbished, look like if it was used before and shape quality
The guitar in general not as i expected and not like what i read of some review
it was a new year gift to my 11 years old daughter
i am not planing to return it back and I will not west my time any more
I bought another one from Best Buy they have it on sell so my daughter started learning to play guitar
i will not advice any one to buy similar guitar, but you can buy if you like from eBay same one but $10 cheaper in total
Sorry to west my money and my time for this toy
