What the hell, Amazon? I've been watching this series for "free" thanks to my Prime membership, I get halfway through the second season, and magically now I have to pay for each episode! All of the Travel Channel shows like Bizarre Foods and No Reservations (for example) are now a la carte too, regardless of Prime membership. For shame, my only saving grace was that I got to watch all of No Reservations before you made everyone buy each episode. One of many reasons I held onto the now $99 a year Prime membership, is because it allowed me to stream my favorite TV shows, many of which happen to be on the Travel Channel. Think I'll cancel my Prime membership, so it doesn't renew, and just go back to Netflix. At least with Netflix I pay one flat rate for streaming and for as many discs as I want. And no, not everyone wants to buy the whole seasons either. Thanks, but no thanks.

Man Vs. Food.. Ahh yes, a guilty pleasure. Now in my travels, should I happen upon one of these locations, I most definitely will stop in for a bite to eat. Adam is a great host. For him being a New Yorker and taking on an eating challenge in Boston and walking out with new friends, that speaks well of the kind of guy he is. Well done Adam. I look forward to Season Two, Three, and so on. =]

I am giving the DVD 4 stars for the DVD itself, not the content. There is no PLAY ALL option. Also, the DVD does not automatically cycle down to the next episode when one finishes. For someone into marathon DVD sessions of TV series, this annoyance is, well, a drag to say the least.

The bonus material is AWESOME. Loved the best places to pig out. That's worth like 3 or 4 episodes in itself.

Again, 5 starts for the show and content. 4 stars because of the DVD itself.

I got this for my husband becuase he loves food. Not foo-foo, ritzy food, but greasy, fried, meaty food! We don't have cable so we'd never even seen an episode, but I'd heard about it from friends and gave it a try. Although I'm sure some people would just cringe at the serving sizes and amounts of butter/grease on display here, we think it's very entertaining! And my husband always says that watching this show makes him hungry. This was a good buy for never seeing it before and now I think it's time for a road trip to find some of the "treasures" we've seen on here!

I really love this show and how it focuses on different local restaurants. I always end up wanting to road trip to all of them! However I am very disappointed that unlimited streaming is no longer included with Prime membership. I made it through much of Season 1 and now can only watch the rest if I pay additionally per episode. I find this frustrating especially since the prices for membership are increasing on top of that... Why???

this DVD shows some good places to eat. the bonus of having the challenge is some good entertainment. I am glad that Travel Channel has the gumption to make, at least, some of its shows availible on DVD. I wish more Travel Channel shows were on DVD. I am not a big fan of video on demand you can't record that onto DVD, a little problem with US law. so I hope the producer will make it onto DVD. this DVD is good. we need more DVD from Travel channel.
