Most detailed restoration/maintenence book I've ever read on an automobile.,

Dad has a project sprite that needs a full restoration, so I bought this for him for Christmas thinking it would be useful.This is the most comprehensive automobile book that I have ever read. Haynes has nothing on this manual. Full maintenence gambit from electrical, to frame restoration, body panel fabrication, welding techniques (although they're all oxy-acetaline, not MIG), engine rebuild, suspension maintenance, wheel alignment, transmission maintenece. Figures are hand-drawn with high contrast and are easiliy interpreted, unlike the haynes manuals which use B&W photos that can be hard to see. Everything you'll ever need to know about maintaining and/or restoring a sprite. If you own a sprite, then you owe it to yourself to get this manual to maintain this iconic british sports car. |
