Bought this for my son for Christmas. He constantly walked around playing air guitar even when there was no music playing. His favorite t shirt has an electric guitar on it that he pretends playing. He is two. I didnt want to get him a toy guitar because I dont think they offer much as far as learning and understanding real guitar goes. He loves it! Definitely his favorite gift this year. I thought it might be too big for him but he can handle it just fine and he wont grow out of it for several years. One day he was playing smoke on the water and the neighbors called the cops because it was too loud. The cops liked the guitar too! It seems durable and actually sounds good but goes out of tune easily.

This is an EXCELLENT guitar for a beginner. It's a real guitar plus it's pretty sturdy. It seems to stay in tune although I'd recommend new strings as the strings that it came with are pretty cheap. The only downside is the on/off switch turns on easily, but the off switch is more elusive. I thought that it would switch off automatically but after 30 minutes it was still on. I removed the battery and wrapped it. I contacted both the manufacturer and the seller and neither have bothered to respond to me concerning this issue. Too bad. Regardless, I bought this for my 8 year old rocker kid and I'm sure he'll be pleased on Christmas Day. Cheers!
