Great Art Deco Jewelry
This is a great Art Deco Jewelry reference book, the only "flaw" is that the book is printed only in black and white, otherwise, it would be impeccable!

As often happened at the time 1920's and 30's, the name of the artist of these wonderful renderings over 800 in all
is not known. If it was I would have applauded him or her. Very fine detail watercolor and gouache renderings with personality and strong geometric patterning. Quite beautiful. The designs are all in black and white and monochromatic 'grey scale' on black or grey paper; which was common at the time and up through the 1940's. You won't miss the color,these were so well designed they stand on there own just fine. For the jewelry historians or jewelry lovers among you; the editors of this great Dover publications book dated this portfolio of drawings to approx. 1925-1930 French or German.
