Our home sold within one week of burying the St. Joseph!

I think the most important thing is that you have to believe it will work, doesn't matter what religion you are, you just have to believe in St. Joseph!

Should we get an acceptable offer soon, I'll amend my review.

This probably all happened because I'm not Catholic, and didn't say any of the prayers that came with this, just buried the statues. But this is a true story.

I was trying to sell my house a couple of years ago, had some interest but couldn't get an offer. My mom had heard about these St. Joseph statues that you could bury and help to sell your house, so I said sure whatever I'll try it, can't hurt, right? Well, I buried them, and just about all of our interest dried up, and we took it off the market for a few months. We put the house back on the market, and had almost zero interest for the first few months. It took me awhile to put two and two together, but it finally hit me we hadn't had one single showing in the 9 months since burying the statues. I went to dig them up, but had a heck of a time finding one of them. I finally dug them both up, and threw them ceremoniously in the trash. Literally three days later I had a showing, an offer, and sold the house a month and a half later.

So, the moral of the story is -- if you bury these, be devout and say the prayers, otherwise you'll experience the full wrath and fury of the man upstairs.

When I bought the St. Joseph statue, my house had been on the market for 3 months without any offers. It was looking rather grim, so even though I wasn't entirely convinced burying a Catholic saint in my front yard would do anything, I was still willing to give it a try. I buried it on Wednesday. By the following Wednesday we had an offer! 1 week! That's all it took. Unbelievable. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but in my case this little statue seems to have worked. I say, if you're having trouble selling your house in this horrible economy, why not give it a try? You really have nothing to lose.

A note about the statue: It's quite small. But this is good as it makes it all the easier to bury.

Good luck selling your home! And thank you, St. Joseph!

Still no offers on my home. Don't waste your money on superstitious religious nonsense.

Are you serious? This is not faith it is pagan superstition. You can pray that your house will sell just as well without this idol.

I purchased this kit at a local Catholic gift store. Expecting it to be made in China, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was made in the USA.

It took us quite a few months of getting our house cleaned out and ready to go on the market. I wrapped it up in two layers of freezer storage bags and shallow buried it in a flower bed. This was all done prior to the sale of our home. We would only come back to the house every other week and take a truck load to our new location. I would always pray, "St. Joseph, please care of our home in our absence." When we put a contract on another house in our new location, I began praying fervently. We are purchasing the new home from a Catholic family and I had them praying for the sale of our house also!

We did everything our realtor told us to do to stage the home. We made a lot of minor, but necessary repairs. We had the house professionally appraised prior to the sale.

Our house went on the MLS on Nov. 12, 2013. On Nov. 14, 2013, we had a solid and very acceptable offer. We closed on the day before Thanksgiving.

As soon as the contract was accepted, I went out and uncovered St. Joseph and brought him into the house and kept praying!! I would carry him around in my pocket when we would leave the house.

After the closing, I sent a monetary gift to a local mission that provides assistance to people in need. This was my thank you note to God!

Bottom line, there is no magic here. You must be practical in your home-selling endeavors and the little instruction booklet tells you that. But I believe if we do our part, God will always do his part.

This is a very attractive kit. I am very happy to find it available on Amazon and will probably be purchasing more for friends.
