For months I had been searching for material that could be used to begin our "Couples Ministry" at the church. I was looking for something in a workbook format that would help guide us since we had never done this before. Upon much prayer, I walk into a Bible outlet store and see this workbook. It was the ONLY one in the store and I was quite excited.
I'm so impressed with the step by step guide to help get a marriage accountability group started. I love the format that includes scripture, opening prayer, question, group talk, etc... What is even more amazing is the "Before the Group" assignments to get each couple prepared before the meeting. Most importantly, it allows each person/couple to identify their own feelings and have a quality discussion with their spouse to help resolve issues. I am going to present this to our pastor next week. I know this will be a blessing to all. We are looking to start our group in 2006. Thanks so much. For people looking for a place to begin, I would recommend this workbook to everyone. |
