This lantern was hand made around the turn of the 20th century. It was probably destined for a Windjammer for sailors needed quality. Hand shaped brass in the visual center a heavy wire cage protecting hand blown glass. This is a solid - heavy - well made Globe Lantern. Hand blown glass Aged bronze finish hand rubbed to give it the exact look and feel of the original oil burning lamp. Made of bronze and glass. Bronze color. Size is 9.75 inches wide by 19.75 inches tall.
